I miss home char kway teow. Today I went into town and got some udon for substitute. Taste was the same, but the oomph was not all there. The smell was there, if only I could wrap it in newspaper to give that extra special taste.
I only finally found kway teow when I bought the soya sauce at the Pinoy shop.
Here it is....
and I had it with ice cold chrysanthemumtea.... phew
