Brighton, Grey and Mates.

I'm having a few days off from uni as there's society's conference going on at Bournemouth which I declined to go. I've experienced it before, and I don't really see much benefit of going unless I'm a registered practitioner. Simply because, it doesn't really impact my practice as a student. Moreover, information or updates will eventually be informed. Plus, I will have tons of opportunities to go once I'm in the practice soon!!

So, instead, I had a great day yesterday with few mates from uni. Therese picked me up from home and we drove all the way to Brighton Marina to meet the rest. The day was cold and grey! We waited the rest at the carpark and they were late! ahahha Blame Shumba for that. So there were me, Therese, Howard, Wendy and Shumba. 2 couldn't make it for unknown reasons. Whilst waiting we kept ourselves warm in the pub nearby with few drinks rather than waiting outside freezing!

After about an hour of no signs of showing up, we then moved to Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
for our lunch! They were excellent!!! The pastas were all great, and the dessert... yaww!!! I had fresh warm brownies with ice cream. Didn't take me long to finish them all! price was good too, for 3 course meal it was less than 20quid! good eh!!?

After lunch, we had coffee at Wendy's. Had a good time with Henry the cat. He's such a lovely and lucky cat!! He's the first cat ever to have sat on my lap, and got pat and stroking from me! He's such a therapeutic cat, and he's 18 years old? Such a lovely one I must say. It's owned by Wendy's mate, Marie.

All and all, it was a great day as a final year student so far!

Raya at Manchester.

I finally had my "first day" of raya. Thanks to Hazim and Betty for hosting such a great gathering. We had loads of good foods and wonderful people.

Shahin and I arrrived Manchester at 1.10am. Took the taxi to Rusholme, and the taxi driver didn't have a clue where exactly it was! Oh bugger I thought.Luckily I wasn't alone. After 3 times going to and forth and ending up no where, we decided to just pull over and drop us anywhere and we'll take it from there walking. He stopped us at around no. 102 of Claremont Road, where we then walked towards 493! Yes... about 300 doors away!!!! It was dark and cold! Wasn't really scared, but that place is indeed scary when walking alone. We bumped into quite a few chavs on the way, but thank God, we then finally arrived at the doorstep. Minutes later that we realised, that place wasn't even safe! Hazim and Betty was like... "WHAT?!.. we wouldn't even dare to go near that place! That's where the shooting and stabbing normally are!"... "Oh well...." we sighed!

Well.... before the long walk.....
A BRUNEIAN... with BRUNEIAN-ied Bengali! ahaha

Here are some pictures from Manchester. Since we only spend few hours in Manchester, we took an opportunity early that morning to look around Manchester. Went to the uni's museum and got myself a book I needed from the Medical school.

Beachy Head and gone loopy!

Juliana and Santie came down to Eastbourne for a day trip last Saturday. They wanted to see Beachy Head. Juliana was kind enough to treat all of us at the Yummy Noodle bar. Had a long chat, but too bad the weather was extremely cold and gloomy. Beachy Head was very windy and extremely cold. But I went loopy running around topless!!! ahahaha But it was all fun. We ended the day at Via for a nice cuppa. They had milkshake, as Via is famous for its milkshake anyway. I missed one of the waitress, she's very friendly and haven't seen her for quite some time. Even Juliana was looking for her.

We chilled out for a while and had my kek batik!! woot woot!! Music was as good as usual.. hehe

The weekend in London.

It was Saturday, tried hard not to get up early. I was recharging myself from the long week of work and some sleepless nights. Blame those stupid monsters that I shared the room with! Razie once again called if I wanted to go to Portobello and Camden. Who would say no to Portobello and Camden!?!?! I jumped, but unfortunately, I had to wait as there was a long queue for the shower. In the end to find out, there was no one in the shower. The jeans that I thought belonged to someone, lying on the floor was actually bin liner! How dumb could I be?!?!?

Need not to say more, Portobello and Camden were still as amazing as ever. There's music, crowd of cool people, and of course, tons of good foods from all over the world. Had a great time, and certainly the companion by them friends were highly appreciated!! I'll leave you to some pictures below. By the way, there was a modelling photoshoot, and I was ever so proud. The camera lady was using a Canon G9!!!! WAHHAHA
