I finally had my "first day" of raya. Thanks to Hazim and Betty for hosting such a great gathering. We had loads of good foods and wonderful people.
Shahin and I arrrived Manchester at 1.10am. Took the taxi to Rusholme, and the taxi driver didn't have a clue where exactly it was! Oh bugger I thought.Luckily I wasn't alone. After 3 times going to and forth and ending up no where, we decided to just pull over and drop us anywhere and we'll take it from there walking. He stopped us at around no. 102 of Claremont Road, where we then walked towards 493! Yes... about 300 doors away!!!! It was dark and cold! Wasn't really scared, but that place is indeed scary when walking alone. We bumped into quite a few chavs on the way, but thank God, we then finally arrived at the doorstep. Minutes later that we realised, that place wasn't even safe! Hazim and Betty was like... "WHAT?!.. we wouldn't even dare to go near that place! That's where the shooting and stabbing normally are!"... "Oh well...." we sighed!
Well.... before the long walk.....
A BRUNEIAN... with BRUNEIAN-ied Bengali! ahaha
Here are some pictures from Manchester. Since we only spend few hours in Manchester, we took an opportunity early that morning to look around Manchester. Went to the uni's museum and got myself a book I needed from the Medical school.
Hhahah funny looking me on the train!
