The mock exam.

It went well, it's just not my best of luck to have a difficult patient. Fortunately it was acknowledged by the lecturer, that's fine. This patient had a very long list of medical history, long list of difficult medications. *sigh*. Luckily it was just a mock. Hope I won't get patient as difficult as that on the real exam.

Had only 4 hours of sleep before hand. One of the reason was the injection site was giving me a hard time. Nevertheless, it was the assignments and the anxiety to be blamed.

So, had caffeine fix in class today. I was wide and alert in a very dry Neuropathology lecture.

Dear Sani
Thanks for your mneumonics CRAGCELD!

I was told this was the way to remember all the clinical areas BUT they forgot what any of it stood for!! Typical!

Really, I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful pictures (really lifted me) and for succintly explaining the above so that I can try to remember it in my exams.

I am a 1st year Pod Student at Uni of East London (only uni in London now for Podiatry) sadly I am nearly 2 1/2 times your age so only passing through (!) ;-)

Would love to know how the 2nd year (I imagine its your 2nd?) has gone and you will probably tell me just how IMMENSE and intense Pharmacoloy is.... ho hum!

Please write back I could do with some encouragement.... I had originally thought of transferring to Brighton but its too late now... and far to far to travel (Im in Kent nr. Dartford tunnel)

Speak soon I hope, and perhaps you have some colleagues nearer my age who can sympathise with the fact that the ole brain cells dont function quite so well!

Cheers
Linda
