One month gone - Placement ends.

My one month placement has just ended. It was fruitful and a very good one indeed. I have learnt a lot. From work politics, ethics as well as the Brunei clinical environment. During the one month, I had rotations between Tutong, KB and RIPAS, although I spent most times at RIPAS Hospital. Temburong was offered but I decided to stay in RIPAS to cover the shortage. Overall, I had a great time during my placement. This was taken on my last day, look at how "stressful" work life is?? aahhaha This was taken in between patients, whilst I was waiting for the next one to come.

So last few days, I just got back from Singapore. It was an excellent weekend breakway. I took my mom along as she hadn't been on holidays for quite a while now. As it is Singapore's 43rd National Day coming up this 09th August, there were many SALE tags everywhere, and as expected anyway. Things were from 50% to 80% off!!!! I didn't shop like mad, as things were mostly available in the UK. I only bought few jeans as I can get it altered here rather than getting them in the UK and sending it for alterations at GBP9 per trousers!

On overall, Singapore has changed tremendously!!!! The foods were excellent, and I liked most the newly opened VivoCity! It's a great one-stop shopping place and a place to chill. I bet it's going to be my work-life breakaway spot next time!! Woohoo!!! Oh, worth mentioning is the new Changi Terminal 3. It's HUUUGE!!! And Changi on Overall now has gone HUMONGOUS!!!! The new Terminal 3 which serves for destinations to Europe, America and Australia, is also a place seen not just as an airport. But rather, it's another place to take the family for a day out. It offers a variety of shops and a big food court that offers truly Singapore eating culture and with cheap price! It's just great to see the development that has taken place in every corner of Singapore. I just wish that with our young minds mushrooming here in Brunei, we hope to see one day we will replicate the good thinking of Singaporeans, otherwise better.
